THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator to assist with managing integrated Credit Union for Kids (CU4Kids) marketing projects and content development in collaboration with CMN Hospitals and credit union partners.

WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:

  • Create and execute on editorial, social and event calendars to enable teams to be prepared and supported.
  • Own and maintain central workplan for major tentpole events and campaigns.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts across teams including vendors. Traffic projects from creative development to estimate approvals and budgeting. Creative production (may involve print, interactive, social media or other channels) and final execution, all while meeting deadlines and having strong project management communication.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing efforts surrounding key credit union industry events.
  • Write and edit copy for email blasts, presentations, articles, sales letters and relationship building programs under the direction of senior staff.
  • Performs quality assurance, including proofing copy and content; checking for brand compliance for CU4Kids; testing digital workflows and forms.
  • Recommends relationship building programs associated with fundraisers, promotional events and special events.
  • Writes creative briefs with supervision.
  • Approximately 10-20 hours of work a week.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to traffic multiple projects and business partner needs.
  • Extremely proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Detail focused with regards to successful marketing program execution.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic, enthusiasm and ability to energize others.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Completion of high school, or equivalent.
