Franklin and Polhamus Join CU4Kids National Activation Board

Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) is the brand under which America’s Credit Unions fundraise for their local children’s hospital. Since being identified as the industry’s charity of choice 23 years ago, the program has raised over $185 million for kids in need. Funds are raised by a number of ways: 1) nationally facilitated campaigns like selling icons and candy bars at branches, Miracle Jeans Day, Skip A Pay, Give on the Go, and 2) credit union grassroots and major events like the Wine Auction, NW Golf Classic, runs, bake sales, bowl-a-thons, and more.

Success of this program is due primarily to remarkable support from industry leaders. A group of these leaders serve on the National CU4Kids Activation Board which is comprised of 10 industry leaders with a goal to create and execute tactics that help raise funds and awareness for children’s hospitals across the United States. The board meets quarterly, either by video/phone conference or in-person.
