TruStage Celebrates CMN Hospitals Founders Award at Headquarters

TruStage is the first organization to showcase the Founders Award at their office, after the trophy traveled across the country in 2024 to credit union industry events and conferences.

MADISON, WI (January 7, 2025) – CMN Hospitals is proud to announce that the prestigious Founder’s Award will be temporarily displayed at TruStage’s headquarters until March. This opportunity marks a new chapter in honoring the incredible work and dedication of individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to children’s health and well-being.

The CMN Hospitals Founder’s Award is the highest honor presented by the organization, recognizing those who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of children and supporting the mission of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide.

A Symbol of Philanthropic Impact

The award was created to highlight the spirit of philanthropy and service that drives CMN Hospitals’ work, celebrating extraordinary individuals and groups that have gone above and beyond in supporting the cause. Having earned its place as a symbol of collective hope and dedication, the Founder’s Award is a cherished representation of the impact philanthropy can have on young lives.

This year, TruStage, a company committed to corporate social responsibility and community engagement, will have the honor of housing the Founder’s Award at their corporate headquarters. The award will be displayed at the TruStage office, allowing employees, clients, and visitors to witness firsthand their monumental contributions.

“We are thrilled to partner with TruStage in sharing the incredible legacy of the Founder’s Award,” said Kristen Schavemaker, Chief Programs and Foundation Partnership Officer of CMN Hospitals. “This collaboration helps shine a spotlight on the vital role that corporate partners and organizations like TruStage play in supporting our mission to provide life-saving care for children across the country.”

A Shared Commitment to Community

TruStage, a financially strong insurance, investment and technology provider , has long been dedicated to corporate social responsibility and has supported numerous initiatives that benefit children and families. The company’s commitment to creating positive social change aligns seamlessly with CMN Hospitals’ mission, making this collaboration a perfect fit.

Each year, TruStage’s significant financial support allows many CU4Kids Signature Events to happen, and further elevate the fundraising provided to 150 children’s hospitals in the United States. In 2024 alone, TruStage was the Presenting Sponsor of the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Run, In The Cellar, and the Teachers FCU Golf Tournament. In addition, TruStage was a significant sponsor of the CA/NV CU4Kids Wine Auction, NW Golf Classic, Bourbon BBQ & Bands, and more.

Their support is more than financial contributions; many of their employees serve on Credit Unions for Kids Boards or committees across the country – including Chris Roe, Senior Vice President, Corporate & Legislative Affairs, who represents TruStage on the National CU4Kids Advisory Board. Receiving the Founder’s Award from Credit Union for Kids is truly an honor and a testament to the incredible work these organizations have accomplished together in supporting children’s healthcare, says TruStage Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Tammy Schultz. “This recognition reflects the dedication and passion of our organization and our commitment to making a lasting impact on the communities we serve. The collaboration between TruStage and Credit Unions for Kids has been nothing short of inspiring and this award underscores the power of that collective effort. TruStage is proud to continue championing this cause and making a real difference in the lives of children and families in need.”

The Award’s Journey Continues

The Founder’s Award will be on display at TruStage’s office from [start date] through [end date], offering a chance for many to see and reflect on the powerful contributions that continue to change the lives of children in need. The award will eventually return to its permanent home, but this special exhibition underscores the deep and lasting connections CMN Hospitals has with its partners.
