Rubber Ducks at Co-op Solutions’ TH!NK Supports CU4Kids In Splashy Way

Co-op Solutions’ THINK conference is one of the industry’s premier events to collaborate and learn from peers and experts. Taking place May 2-4 in 2023, attendees were treated to an exceptional experience at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort in Tucson, AZ.

Not only did attendees have the chance to absorb vast amounts of knowledge, there was plenty of fun and community impact incorporated. Especially through Co-op Solutions elevating Credit Unions for Kids, an industry charity of choice to raise funds for children’s hospitals across the country.

Golf or Fun Run/Walk

On the morning of conference start date, Co-op Solutions always offers a cool, and optional, experience for attendees to consider. This year there was a golf tournament at the beautiful Starr Pass Golf Club and fun run/walk, mostly walk… 🙂

Rubber Duck Race

For the first time, attendees could buy a rubber duck; 1 for $10 or 3 for $20. Every duck purchased was entered into a race in the lazy river on the final day of the conference. This may have been the can’t-miss event at the can’t miss conference and will likely be recurring due to popular demand.

‘Person on the street’

Instead of music playing as attendees enter the general sessions, CMN Hospitals and Co-op Solutions representatives find people in the crowd and ask them why and how they support CU4Kids. These inspiring stories also serve as best practices for attendees to learn CSR best-practices from each other.

CU4Kids Celebration

One of the very final aspects of the conference is the CU4Kids Celebration, where Co-op Solutionas and all attendees, celebrate how much was raised during the conference. A patient family from Tucson Medical Center joined the mainstage to share their story, CMN Hospitals representative
