Desert Financial Prepares Phoenix Children’s Hospital for the Holidays

To prepare for the Holiday Season, leadership at Desert Financial Credit Union spent a day volunteering at Phoenix Childrens’ One Darn Cool School. They decorated the school, surprised the teachers with nearly 100 donated books, and put together craft kits for patients to create.

Desert Financial has been a long-time supporter of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. In fact, in early 2019 they made a $2 million pledge to continue funding the One Darn Cool School.

Ron Amstutz, Executive Vice President at Desert Financial says, “Desert Financial is committed to making an impact on our community, especially to support child healthcare and education. It’s important that we create a culture of giving that starts from the top, which is why our leadership team spent the day at Phoenix Children’s Hospital preparing to make the holidays special for kids being treated this month and the teachers in the One Darn Cool School.”
