Celebrating Credit Unions For Kids

In October, we celebrated our long-standing partnership with Credit Unions For Kids (CU4Kids). CU4Kids has been a CMN Hospitals partner since 1996 and has raised $1,139,879 for Valley Children’s Hospital since the beginning of our partnership. In 2024, Credit Unions For Kids raised an incredible $82,297.12 for Valley Childrens Hospital. Funds were raised through the CU4Kids wine auction, held in March, and through sponsorships of 2024 Kids Day. This year’s total includes $22,435 from EECU, $14,450 from Pacific Service Credit Union and $3,000 from Valley Oak Credit Union.

A portion of the funds raised by CU4Kids this year sponsored our Halloween Bash at the hospital; this special event brought so much joy and fun to our patients spending the holiday in our hospital. The event was held with our Child Life department on Halloween Day, and our patients and their families were treated to fun activities, games and gifts. EECU CEO Beth Dooley and EECU staff, along with Pacific Service Credit Union CEO Jenna Lampson and her staff, joined in on the fun during the party. Our CU4Kids partners also participated in a tour of our hospital’s Oncology, NICU and Rehab departments. During the tour, they heard from our clinical staff about the services our hospital provides to patients and their families, and the significant impact made by donations and by the continued support of our philanthropic partners. We are incredibly grateful for the decades of partnership with Credit Unions for Kids and we are so thankful for the difference they make in improving the lives and health of children in the Central Valley.
