Splash the Waterfront in Miracles

The Bangor Chapter of Credit Unions is hosting a special walk and run, the Colors for a Cause 5K, on Sunday, May 19. One hundred percent of the proceeds will support Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

The local credit unions are expecting about 300 people to attend, and we’re hoping some of those folks may be you, your team, or your family and friends.

Last year, the Bangor Chapter of the Credit Unions raised more than $18,000 through various fundraisers at branches throughout central, eastern, and northern Maine, and a kickball tournament in September. Their organizers are hoping to do even more to make miracles happen for Maine kids receiving care locally, and the Colors for a Cause 5K is the first of their events planned this year.
