Celebrating Children’s Hospitals Week 2023

It’s hard to believe #ChildrensHospitalsWeek 2023 has already come and gone! From April 3rd – 7th we celebrated the miracles that happen every day at Hurley Children’s Hospital alongside our amazing miracle families, credit union partners, and Hurley staff members who helped us raise awareness (and funds) for pediatric patients treated at Hurley Children’s Hospital.

During this week-long celebration we unveiled the new NICU “Hall of Fame”, hosted a CMN Balloon Icon sale in the Hurley Lobby Shop for the first time, received special shipments from our Amazon Wish List, and accepted generous donations from our Credit Unions for Kids partners at ELGA, Financial Plus, Dort Financial, Security, and Sovita.

While our week was filled with much joy and celebration, we also mourned the incredible loss of an important member of our CMN family: Drew Foster. During his time on earth, Drew met pro athletes, rock stars, celebrities, Miss America contestants and even a president… but HE was always the star at the countless CMN and Hurley Children’s Hospital events he supported. We’ll miss sharing those moments with him and we hope you will take a moment to read his obituary.
