CU4Kids at GAC

Did you know that Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) is being awarded the Founder’s Award by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals)? The Founder’s Award is a highly prestigious award provided to a distinguished individual or organizations who have made amazing contributions to CMN Hospitals. These contributions positively impact and benefit member hospitals, including time, effort, talent, significant personal commitment, or a leadership role.
Stop by the CU4Kids booth, booth #948, at GAC and help celebrate the Founders Award. If you are a current or past supporter of the CU4Kids initiative or want to learn more about how you can support, come to the CU4Kids booth at GAC and sign your name on a CU4Kids sticker and stick it on the U.S. Map that will represent credit unions from across the United States at the Founders Award Ceremony.
Also, to celebrate CU4Kids winning the prestigious Founders Award, Jean Chatzky and John Bratsakis will talk about the amazing impact credit unions have made on children’s hospitals for decades during the Wednesday morning general session of GAC. Through Jean’s personal connection with two CMN Hospitals and John’s dedication as CU4Kids Advisory board chair, both speakers are proud of the work being done with and for CU4Kids and look forward to celebrating with you!

Credit unions have been proud partners of CMN Hospitals through CU4Kids since 1996 and have raised more than $200 million benefiting local member hospitals. Member hospitals have used funds to provide both direct financial assistance as well as community-based programs in economic developments. This allows patients to have the needed support while helping put their family’s minds at ease while they are in the hospital.
Credit Unions for Kids, (CU4Kids) benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® (CMN Hospitals) in collaboration with Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and was adopted as a movement and charity of choice. Credit unions with their chapters, leagues, associations and business partners throughout the U.S. donate to CU4Kids benefiting local children’s hospitals through CMN Hospitals. Whether contributing through ATM contributions, events or making direct donations to CU4Kids, credit unions are raising funds to help children’s hospitals provide the best possible care for kids, which includes providing financial, educational and emotional support for families fostering economic stability.
