NW Credit Union Executive Breakfast Innovates Local Fundraising

Credit Unions in the Northwest have collaborated on fundraising for local children’s hospitals for over 30 years. One of the premier events is the CU4Kids Northwest Golf Classic, supported by more than 15 credit unions. This event has brought credit union leaders across the NW and country together in unity of one mission: saving kids’ lives. Since 2000, this event has raised nearly $10 million; over $1.5 million in 2019 alone!

In November 2019, credit union executives from the NW hosted a ‘working breakfast meeting’ with an objective on finding ways to innovate fundraising and general support to local children’s hospitals. With a special emphasis on how to do this in a cooperative way.
