Miracle Kids light up Charlottesville

Some very special guests lit the City of Charlottesville holiday tree and lights at this year’s Grand Illumination:  our CMN Miracle Kids from UVA Children’s!

Sponsored by one of our Credit Unions for Kids partners, UVA Community Credit Union, the program is the biggest public event of the season in town. The kids joined Dr. Mike Engel (UVA Children’s Chief of Hematology and Oncology), Charlottesville City Police, and the credit union to count down and light up the Downtown Mall.  As a special treat Miracle Kid, Kennedy Buntrock, performed a holiday song selection that warmed the hearts of all in attendance.
