Happy International Credit Union Day!
Today is International Credit Union Day, and we would like to say thank you to our Baton Rouge Area Credit Union partners for raising funds and awareness year-round for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital!
Credit Unions for Kids, a nonprofit collaboration of credit unions, chapters, leagues/associations and business partners from across the country, engages in fundraising activities to benefit 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Local credit unions have partnered with CMN Hospitals since 1996 raising over $160 million.
Locally, Campus Federal, EFCU Financial, Neighbors Federal Credit Union, Pelican State Credit Union, and Baton Rouge TELCO Federal Credit Union have joined forces to form the Baton Rouge Area Credit Union Charity Golf Tournament committee. Members of the committee raise funds and awareness year-round for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital by engaging their local vendors and business partners. This year’s golf tournament will be hosted on Monday, October 23rd at Santa Maria Golf Course.
