CU4Kids Advisory Board Member, Diana Dykstra, Wins Herb Wegner Award

Diana Dykstra, President/CEO of the California and Nevada Credit Union League has been announced as the winner of the coveted 2019 Herb Wegner Memorial Award. Diana, along with President/CEO of GECU Crystal Long, were named the winners of the Outstanding Individual Achievement Award. This award began in 1988 to recognize leaders who advanced the credit union movement on a national and international level. Award winners must follow the mission of ‘being a catalyst to improve people’s financial lives through credit unions.’

Dykstra is also a long-standing member of the Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) National Advisory Board. In that capacity, she has helped credit unions across the country raise millions of dollars for their local children’s hospitals. Since the program began 22+ years ago, over $170 million has been raised and donated to help sick kids in local communities; much of that money being used to help families with medical debt. Diana Dykstra has been a critical reason for the success of the CU4Kids program.
