Like Credit Unions, Children’s Hospitals Are Facing Difficult Times

This pandemic has impacted many industries and companies, some for the better and many for the worse. Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals understands that credit unions are struggling in a variety of ways. Operationally, by shifting to a work from home solution for employees and keeping member’s information secure while doing so. Challenges of PPP loans, increased Skip a Pays, and decline in investments. All that and more, while strategically planning for an uncertain future. This is a difficult and demanding time.

During this crisis, it’s impossible not to notice the credit union culture of ‘cooperation’ and ‘support for communities’ thrive. Credit unions have taken the lead, like usual, to support your members and communities.

CMN Hospitals has felt that in a tremendous way. Credit unions have raised $200 million for local children’s hospitals through the Credit Unions for Kids program in the last 24 years. Thank you credit unions, for allowing local children’s hospitals to navigate these trying times with all the resources they need.

In particular, there have been very generous donations during this crisis. Just to name a few:

Like credit unions, children’s hospitals are facing tough times. CMN Hospitals hosted a webinar with two doctors that are at the forefront of treating children while handling this pandemic. Click here to listen to a recording of the webinar.
