PSCU, CU4Kids Honor Children’s Nurses During National Nurses Week

Nurses at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center were treated to lunch in celebration of #NationalNursesWeek, courtesy of our partners at Credit Unions for Kids and PSCU!

Thanks to the fundraising efforts of PSCU employees and matching gifts from PSCU and CU4Kids, more than 500 nurses across our organization enjoyed a meal in recognition of their contributions to caring for kids.

Local credit unions have raised more than $1.17 million for Children’s through the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals partnership.

“PSCU is built on the credit union philosophy of ‘People Helping People’, so we came together to give back to those keeping us safe and working tirelessly on the front lines of this COVID-19 pandemic,” says Lynn Heckler, EVP and Chief Talent Officer for PSCU. “We wanted to thank local first responders through a credit union industry effort like CU4Kids, which is how credit unions donate to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals such as Children’s Hospital & Medical Center.”

PSCU, the nation’s premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO), supports the success of 1,500 credit unions representing more than 3.8 billion transactions annually.
