3-Year Old Takes a Much-Needed Joy Ride

3-year old Avery, a cancer patient at Asante from Grants Pass, Ore., lit up with joy when she saw her new “mini Jeep” – a very generous gift purchased by Rogue Credit Union at the Northwest Credit Union Association Gala.

Avery suffers from acute lymphoblastic leukemia and receives care at Asante. Gifts like toys and games make a huge difference for kids going through treatment – laughter and smiles are healing for the entire family.

After presenting Avery with her new ride, representatives from Rogue Credit Union presented the Asante Foundation with an impressive check for $137,000 that will go toward Children’s Miracle Network program here at Asante.
